New Client Guide
Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar, especially if it’s your first time. This guide explains what to expect so you can feel informed and comfortable before we begin.
Step 1 — Initial Contact
Reach out through the contact form to get started. You’ll receive a response with next steps and scheduling options.
Step 2 — Consultation
A brief consultation allows us to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer questions, and determine whether we’re a good fit.
Step 3 — Intake Session
We begin by identifying what you’d like support with, exploring your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for treatment. This helps create a clear and individualized path forward.
Step 4 — Ongoing Sessions
Sessions focus on evidence-based treatments, ongoing progress monitoring, and practical tools to support meaningful growth, emotional well-being, and effective care.
Step 5 — Moving Forward
The goal is not to keep you in therapy indefinitely. Therapy is intended to help you build practical skills, make meaningful progress, and feel confident moving forward when the time is right.
